Long after the last drop of wine is emptied from a bottle, we can still enjoy the memories of that vintage — just by looking at the label. This year we received many entries to our annual label contest, and based on what we saw there are a lot of great (tasting) memories out there. <p><strong>Laraine Willkie • Bellingham, Washington</strong><br /> <br />The original artwork on Laraine’s Chilean Carmenère was all hand pieced, edited and altered. Inspired by her garden, she said, “I like the impression of texture and warmth. <p><strong>Cami Fischer • New Paltz, New York</strong><br /> <br />Cami’s design actually helped to sell the originial watercolor painting on the label. “My husband and home winemaker had just finished making a Malbec wine and he suggested we offer a bottle with the sale of the painting, using the painting for the label.
